Our brand guidelines
Who we are, how we sound and how we look. Free to use when you’re talking or writing about readywhen: articles, partnerships, decks, press. All assets below are © readywhen and can’t be used for any other purpose. Please don’t redraw, recolour, or remix the marks.
About readywhen
Who it’s for
Owner‑led businesses of 1–20 people, such as agencies, trades, coaches and consultants, estate agents and small software companies.
What it is
An assistant that catches what you promise in your emails, calls and messages, knows who’s waiting on you, and helps you get it done.
How it works
Connect your email, calendar and docs. Then message it, voice‑note it or have it call you, on WhatsApp, the web or Slack. Nothing goes out until you say so.
Our lines
Descriptor
THE assistant for owner‑led businesses.
Tagline
The things you said you’d do. Done.
Sign-off
readywhen you are.
Our belief
No one can stay on top of everything alone.
The name
Always lower-case: readywhen, one word, never “Readywhen”, “ReadyWhen”, or “Ready When”. When the name appears in body copy, mirror the logo: ready in bold, when in italic.
Other tools record. readywhen acts.
Example usage in running copy.
Logo
Two marks, two ink variants. The full lockup pairs the symbol with the wordmark and is the default. The app icon stands alone for tight spaces: favicons, social avatars, app tiles. Use the mint variants on dark surfaces, the dark variants on light or mint surfaces.
Lockup: mint (for dark backgrounds)
Lockup: dark (for light backgrounds)
Do
- Keep clear-space around the mark equal to the height of the “r”.
- Use the dark variant on the brand green and on photography.
- Scale proportionally. The wordmark sits at 21 px in our nav.
Don’t
- Don’t recolour, outline, or add effects to the mark.
- Don’t separate the symbol and wordmark in the full lockup.
- Don’t place the dark mark on a busy or low-contrast background.
Meet Inky
Inky is our octopus mascot, and where our personality lives: eight arms, eight things on the go, none of them dropped. One Inky per layout, never as a logo replacement.
Plush Inky

Inky at work
In ads, Inky sits beside one bold line with one italic word.

Find Inky
One Inky hidden in a busy small‑business scene, every Friday.

Don’t
- Don’t use Inky in place of the logo.
- Don’t put Inky on a photo of a real business. It implies he was there.
- Don’t redraw or recolour Inky.
Backgrounds
Atmospheric backdrops for decks, social posts, and partnership assets. Grainy, gradient-led, mint-and-teal. Use behind hero copy or as a section divider. Keep type on top in light ink and leave generous breathing room.
Photography
Real owners at work, in their own places. Never stock offices, handshakes or people staring at dashboards.

Colour
Deep green and mint are the anchor; mint signals action and the moment something gets done. Warm paper, four tints and four poster colours bring in the colour of the businesses we work with.

readywhen is THE assistant for owner‑led businesses. It has its own phone number, its own computer, and a project board that keeps track of everything on your plate. Call it. Message it. Voice‑note it. And it gets real work done.
Our boilerplate. Use it as written.
